Inkscape doesn't even load, so I deleted X11... and am now without vector
software (prior to this, it doesn't supported all the typographical
families that I need for my work and that I love to use on my personal
projects). I guess the best option is to get an HD (spend money that I
don't have... yet), backup, delete some videos... and dual boot Mac OS X
with some G/Linux or with Solaris (anything that "works well" with X11).
...or wait for Apple to open source Cocoa, Carbon and make an "Aqua-lite"
so that the Unix world can deprecate X11; that will be Macintosh + Unix v2
...or Mac OS ][
I'm not interested in Gimp; I'm using Seashore for the moment and will buy
(partly unwillingly) either Photoshop (Elements or CS5). Corel Painter
doesn't work very good on Snow Leopard, but that's Corel's fault... the
bug patches are not working very well. And I want to compete with all the
above on the "long term".
