Well that binary doesn't even use X11 ... so it must exec something else that does ... ?
That is correct. The binary above is just a connection GUI and doesn't
use X11. It just spawns an ssh connection through which the X session is
tunnelled, and quits.
I also connect to an NX server from my 10.6.2 MacBookPro, using the
stock X11 application and it works fine there. I presume for the OP it
also works fine using this X11 version ?
One thing, NX does use its own ssh binaries (I'm not at my mac now so
cannot be sure, but I think installed under something like /usr/NX/bin
or /usr/bin/NX ...). Maybe something is wrong there....
