"Changes" = "the main codebase hasn't been updated since X11R4 or
thenabouts". I imagine there's been some EWMH cooperation added, among
other things. (Oddly enough, I was just wondering last week if anyone had
been keeping XView up to date.)
BTW, I'd suggest running under dtruss to see what it's doing differently in
the working and non-working cases.
