  I've lodged this as a bug report (ID 12034754) accompanied by this
  video sequence: http://abdallah.hiof.no/xq/XQ-switch.mov

  Also installed and tested XQuartz 2.7.3_rc1 on a MacBook 2.2 running
  10.6.8 with no adverse Spaces behaviour at all. As far as I can
  judge, it must be a ML issure.
