Just to keep things straight, I'd like to repeat one detail that I

from
X11. I'm not sure if that makes any difference or helps explain

I experience this as well since upgrading to Lion. Specifically, I
find
that
copying both ways works for a while, then copying from X11 to to OSX
(but

vice versa) stops working. Restarting the X server usually fixes
this. I
thought it might be related to my use of klipper, but I haven't

anything
down.
Yeah, I expect that things will fail if you try to use klipper and
xpbproxy at the same time. You should not run more than one clipboard
manager at a time, or they will fight. At worst, they'll clash
continuously. In the best case, one will give up (which is I believe
what xpbproxy does).
