Are you sure the plugin was built with debugging symbols turned on, optimization turned off, and the symbols aren't being stripped after the build is finished? Debugging screen savers using System Preferences as an "executable" works for me, so I'm trying to make sure the problem doesn't exist between the chair and keyboard... <;*)
