importing a project from CVS??

Hi there list.

I would like to know how I can import (or start) a project from CVS. I'm working with Apache Cocoon, and would like to use Xcode for dev. Can I access Apache's CVS tree, download the required module into Xcode. I'm assuming this should work fine and I should be able to just build my app through Xcode as it's all Ant Task based anyway.
