That's _THE_ biggest drawback of VC++ (besides, you know, being on Windows)


One window means completely finite real estate, that gets subdivided, subdivided, until you are left with
280 x 192 pixel area..




I think single window mode with splits and tabs is very usable. Single window mode without tabs sucks though, agreed.

Eclipse has it, Visual Studio .NET has it, Project Builder WO (R.I.P.) had it (only even better). PBX lost it and XCode didn't bring it back. (Only a stupid popup button and back and fore - really useless)
