Except for the reboot, I did all that. I'd have to know which file is updated, so I can check that it is used properly (we are running in a networked environment). It's one of these plist files, right?

I read from a mailing list, that others are also struggling with the same phenomenem. I.e., they can get all sorts of things to run, but not .php and XCode and CVS!

But, I can't do anything with CVS!! Isn't XCode supposed to pick up the CVS information automatically?

When you edit these settings in SSH Agent, it updates a file that is used to set the environment for GUI apps. I think you need to reboot, or at least log out and back in, or at the very least restart Xcode, for the changed setting to take effect.
