Okay. just getting started on developing on the Mac, and I've got what
SHOULD be some basic issues.
Got My developer CD, installed and ran all the updates that I could
find, no problems.
Tried building one of the example projects, and now I'm having a problem...
trying to build ANY of the example projects gives Me an error `cant
locate file for -lcrt1.o'
I know GCC is trying to link an object file, and I know I should have
it, but I haven't a clue where this file is supposed to be. finder cant
locate it, and the only files that even contain anything that references
it(according the the finder search) are the example project files...
Am I missing an SDK? a library set? something basic?
All I have installed is what came on the developer CD and the updates.
What else do I need?
is there anything I don't have that are recommended?
Primarily, My focus is going to be on writing cross-platform network
games and applications. once I get xcode to actually compile stuff, I
get to start porting code over.
any libs or SDK's that would help with this goal, I'm all ears...
