One word: Exposi. It's not uncommon for me to have 20-30 windows open
at once, but I only have one monitor and it isn't a cinema display. I
use Exposi quite often, and just let Xcode cascade all of my editor
windows.
I also turned the resolution up as high as it would go on my monitor
(1280x1024), and that helps as well.
