I find this to be really easy. Simply add the .icns file to the
application target, so that it is copied to the application resources
folder and then set the name of the icon (including the extension IIRC)
in the application target with the help of the target inspector. That's
really all there's to it. It sounds like you might have added the icon
to the project, but not assigned it to the application target?
