In PB I could do all of this in one window, and find a warning or error with one click.
In Xcode 1.0 - 1.2 I needed two windows, but could still use only one click.
How will this work in Xcode 1.5? I count two windows, an additional split view, some scrolling and at least two clicks (*). Right or wrong?

It seems that those who agree that this is a bug should file a bug report sooner rather than later, or it will be perpetuated in this and future versions of Xcode.

I don't understand what you're talking about.

Consider the build results window. I have it set to show automatically on builds, thus matching the Project Builder behaviour. It has an attached editor, again matching the Project Builder behaviour.

In Project Builder I could click on a warning or error and see the relevant source code in the attached editor. Exactly the same in Xcode 1.5.

In Xcode 1.0 to 1.2 I needed two windows, like you say, and it was a nightmare because I only have a 12" PowerBook with a tiny screen. Having two windows meant I had to click back and forth between windows, or try to juggle my space by tweaking my project window so that I could see the Warnings & Errors smart group and the detail view (had to have that visible because the smart group was too narrow to show any useful info) without having to do too much scrolling up and down to keep my other Groups and Files entries visible. Altogether too much clicking, too much scrolling, too much switching and too much fiddling.

In short, Xcode 1.0 to 1.2 was a mess which slowed me down. But with 1.5 I am thrilled because I can now work just as efficiently as I did in Project Builder.

I really don't see what everyone is complaining about.
