I can't use any other IDE (the project is appr. 1 million lines of
ObjC code), I can't close & open the different branches as needed (it
takes half a minute just opening the project) so I need to have them
open at the same time, and with the current multiple editor situation
I literally have 15-20 different editors open at the same time (a few
branches, Build/Find/Debug/CVS/Main window editors for each of them).
With the old PB I could have exactly one window for each of them,
using tabs, and they could all be visible at the same time.
Simon (very upset about the current situation)
If you don't like having so many editors open at once, what is stopping
you from closing most of them and using the equivalent "Smart Group"
and "Detail View" listings in the main editor window? You can do this
for at least the "Errors & Warnings", "Find", and "SCM" smart groups.
