How to get tab-completion in Xcode's GDB console?

I generally enjoy working with Xcode's gdb console, but sometimes I have to switch to the command line client just to get the tab-based symbolic completions I'm used to from gdb. Is there anyway I can get this behavior via the Xcode console? Hitting tab from the console inserts a true tab into the text view instead of provoking gdb's completion mechanism.
