We are working in a multi-user env. There are no special characters in all usernames/pw's we use, all are in "normal" western characters.

It seems there is a problem in XCode when parsing username/PW. This is a known issue for Apple and might be fixed in a future release, so I am told. (See messages earlier on this list with subject "CVS integration in XCode".)
