Also, the little tiny button in the status bar of the build results
window will pop open the bottom log area for you.  It is to the right
of the "Show Build Steps" and "Show Build Warnings" checkboxes.

Not necessarily so - what prompted my original posting about this problem was that NOTHING I clicked on or twisted-down or menu-selected caused the error message to become visible in any window.


What I did notice was that immediately after the error was generated, it appeared in the build window and, within an instant, was erased. My subsequent efforts were aimed at getting that message to again be visible so I could read it and was not successful.

Thanks to the folks who sent me a clue about what OUGHT to be the procedure for getting this chore accomplished. However, I am going to submit a bug because I don't believe the feature is consistently performing as intended or desired.

Oh yes - has anyone noticed it's a less than perfect world? Me too - my plan?... deal with it.
