So, the common settings has nothing to do with the current settings.
They are just a collection of settings that it's likely that I might
want to use.
I think that the problem here, what made me ask this question in the
first place, is that you mix two things: The library of available
standard build settings and The currently used build settings.
I think that this inspector would work better if you separated the two,
ie. if the library of build settings did not show any state (they could
indicate a default value, but should not show the state of the build
setting currently used in the target / style), and if there was a way
to view ALL build settings in effect for a particular target+style.
I'll file a feature/enhancement request.
