Is something screwy about my output or does everyone see this splitting

I see the same thing, and the only workaround I'm aware of is to manually
edit the generated HTML. (Of course, one could write a script to edit it,
reformatting the method signatures as desired. I suppose one could even edit
the original Perl scripts.)

However, I didn't explore whether changing the use of white space in my
methods in the header file would have an impact on this formatting problem.

No changing the white space in the original does not affect the output.

After the trouble I had getting everything else to work, I guess I decided I
could live with this formatting issue. Now that I think about it, however,
it really isn't satisfactory.

I am not sure who maintains HeaderDoc - who would you send an enhancement/bug response to as the current output is not satisfactory in my opinion either.
