adding files to targets

  • Subject: adding files to targets

I have a project with several targets. Most files are common to all targets.

So, I added the common files to the project, and then created a new target to which I added the specific source files for that target.

Now, to add all the other files, I have to select the target in the top-left pull-down menu, click on the source groupings, and put a checkmark in the boxes for each file I want to be in this target.

There can be quite a few files I need to checkmark.... Is there a faster/batch way to do this? ie, is there an option somewhere "Add selection to target"?

While I'm at it, it bothers me a bit that my main project isn't actually a buildable target... Only the sub-targets are. Is there a better way for me to organize this? I did it this way because I didn't want any particular target to be the "main" , ie default, target.

Thanks,

Markian
