XCode 1.5 Installation

I’m sure this is due to my inexperience with the Mac, but I’ve hit a roadblock trying to install XCode 1.5.

I downloaded the CD image file. When I click on it, it mounts Xcode Tools as a virtual drive. According to the readme, I should be able to click on the XcodeTools.mpkg icon to start the installation. However, when I open Xcode Tools in Finder, XcodeTools.mpkg shows up as a folder not an application.

Can someone tell me how to initiate the installation?
