to the library, then to do a precise mouse movement. Then hope the
GUI implementor empowered you to find the stuff you are searching for.
How complex compared to typing a few commands like nm, grep, etc.
Don't be silly! Just drag the file from the CodeWarrior Project Window
(or XCode for that matter!) to the Icon of the App you wish to call
(which is aliased to point to the correct App, perhaps in a Drag Tool
like "DragThing" or the like). Just timed the whole operation, less
than 1 second! I haven't had to do any "placing visible next to
library" in over 10 years of Mac programming! If you are having to do
that you really haven't set your system up to get the most out of it,
it's a GUI based system and you have to think "GUI" to get the most
out of it.

Silly to the unknowing, only. They are the same hieroglyphs you use
for writing your C code, aren't they? Surely I'm not the only one
who's trying to set the mouse aside while coding.
Well I do know now and it's still silly and a giant leap backwards!
Just can't help laughing at the stupidity of it all!
I have enough hieroglyphs in C! Why bother with them in a Tool that
is supposed to aid development! Besides that, I use the mouse more
then the keyboard when coding - ever heard of Cut/Copy/Paste, not to
mention Scrolling and Searching!
GUI's usually give you a flat learning curve at the cost of speed
and flexibility. As a professional, you already know what you are
doing?
Not so, CodeWarroir (and XCode to a lessor extent) and the tool set
used with it are much more flexible than the silly CLI!
Yes, I am a professional that's wants to see progress not being
forced to use rubbish from the 60's to find out something as trivial
as this or fill my brain up with useless hieroglyphs when there is no
need for it!
All the Best
Dave
