Have you tried enabling the verbose output of the distcc daemon? See the XCDistributedBuildsVerboseLogging and DistributedBuildsLogLevel defaults in the "expert" settings. This may provide you with the information you're looking for. I've never tried this myself, so I can't say for sure, but it's a cheap experiment.

I've actually tried both of these but it really only seems to affect how Xcode sends out distributed builds to other clients. It doesn't seem to let you see any log information about who connects to you. Figuring out how to get the daemon to output stuff is probably the way to go though.

Is there any way to see who is using your machine to do distributed
builds so I can go and smack the leechers upside the head?

You should really point out to the (potential) leechers that's there's a process priority associated with sharing one's computer for distributed builds.

I have pointed this out to no avail. :(

Set it to Low if they are concerned that other developers are going to steel their precious CPU cycles (most of which I'm sure are going to waste, by the way).

I'm also sure that most of the precious CPU cycles are idly wasting away. Especially since I tend to work later than everyone else.

Also, for those that pointed to netstat... This seems to only show current connections (though I've only glanced at it). So I'd have to use netstat at the moment someone was doing a distributed build otherwise I'd miss it. Correct?

Is there any way to turn on more explicit logging of the distcc daemon? That way I'd be able to look at log messages to see what was going on.

Also, if I can figure out who is leeching is there any way that I can block them so that they can't use me for distributed builds anymore? Thanks!
