Please file a Radar bug report, http://bugreport.apple.com , so we can track this. I'd also like you to turn on Xcode-gdb logging reproduce the problem then attach the log to the Radar report.

Do the following in terminal then run Xcode, reproduce the problem and attach the log to your Radar:

defaults write com.apple.Xcode PBXGDBDebuggerLogFileName /tmp/XCGDBLog
defaults write com.apple.Xcode PBXGDBDebuggerLogToFile YES

Yeah, I did this last night... but I also noticed something else...  with my son's younger eyes aiding me.  Some files were compiling twice.  I searched the project & couldn't see any reason for it but confirmed the problem by looking in the build directory.  Certain files' object was in there twice with numbers inserted in the name.  Removing these files' references from the project & re-adding them seems to have made me healthy again.

Any idea what could cause this symptom & how to detect it?  It would be neat if Xcode would complain about things like this.

Peace,
Bob

You know how I describe the economic & social classes in this country?  The upper class keeps all of the money and pays none of the taxes.  The middle class pays all of the taxes, does all of the work.  The poor are there just to scare the sh-t out of the middle class!  Keep 'em showing up at those _jobs_!!
