When i recompile my project in xcode 2.2, the old errors stick
around, even though I fixed them. I'm using a custom build step. The
build results window is fine (cmd+ and cmd=), but the upper-right
pane of the main window (with captions "!", "Message", "Location")
keeps the old messages around. The only way to clear them is to close
and reopen the project. This seems to be new behavior in xcode 2.2
and MacOS 10.4.x. Do you have any suggestions?
In the "General" preference pane in Xcode there's an option to
"Automatically clear log" before each build/run.
Actually that just clears out the run/debug text logs, not the errors
& warnings messages.
It sounds like you should file a bug since we may not be dealing with
messages from custom build steps properly.
