Actually that just clears out the run/debug text logs, not the errors & warnings messages.


It sounds like you should file a bug since we may not be dealing with messages from custom build steps properly.

I've filed rdar://4389264 related to that this (European) afternoon: if I double click on an error message from a Run Script phase, that error and all other errors from that phase instantly disappear from the Errors smart group. And when rebuilding, the old errors reappear along with new errors.
