This thread seems to be heading to very fruitless directions. Especially this message contains no information, only some claims based on no knowledge at all.

How can one deduce from a message that someone else has experience only with one platform? I cannot. I don't know, but I suppose that many people, who post on this work on several platforms, not one only.

And as should be known, a mailing list is not an official channel to make enhancement request. An enhancement request should also be a lot more specific than just 'make it better'.

I hope you got your laughs, I just got a bit annoyed.

IDE's are very near the developer. Personal taste counts a lot. If someone likes Visual Studio, someone else doesn't. Neither is wrong or bad. I myself have never liked Visual Studio a bit, its usability is almost zero for me, but YMMV.

PS And if you think I know only one platform, just guess, how wrong you are…

Sorry for swallowing this obvious flame bait(?), but couldn't resist… Sincerely I hope this won't go on very long. Not that I am doing what I'm saying:-(

I find it comical when a developer defends a platform against another one when they are only familiar with one platform.

In my opinion, XCode has lots of catching up to do to match Visual Studio.

Hopefully Apple will hear this and greatly improve XCode!
