One workaround for your case that may help is to set the file type on the file reference in the Get Info window (i.e. open up a Get Info window on the dylib file reference and change the file type from 'file' to the appropriate file type).

The appropriate file type, in this case, should be: "compiled.mach-o.dylib", right?
That's what they are already set to.
