I'm wondering how we manage the migration of a group of developers working on multiple projects from Panther/Xcode 1.5 to Tiger/Xcode 2.0 ?

Do Xcode project files get irreversibly changed when you move from 1.5 to 2.0, or can you open a 1.5 project in 2.0, make changes and then open it again later in 1.5 ?

The project file format is the same between Xcode 1.5 and Xcode 2.0.  Projects opened in Xcode 2.0 can still be opened, edited, and built in Xcode 1.5.

If you use Xcode 2.0 specific features that cause changes to the project file, those changes will be ignored in Xcode 1.5.

In most cases teams can share a project file between 1.5 and 2.0, as long as the team working on 2.0 doesn't add build settings that are 2.0 only.
