"Time Profile" is the one you should be using. But I don't know why it wouldn't show you any results. maybe the new version would work better.
I assume you did do the sampling during a time when your code would have been being used - i.e. you need to do whatever it is with the program that causes your code to get called.
And note that it is best to compile your program with debugging symbols so that Shark can show you the source lines.
You should read the docs & tutorial that are available from Shark;s Help menu.
