Sure. The catch is that you can't run it directly because you have to run CFM apps with LaunchCFMApp. So instead of exec'ing /path/to/ your/app, you'd exec /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/ Versions/A/Support/LaunchCFMApp /path/to/your/app.
