Did you press return?
Full-Text Search is not an instant/incremental search. You have to type in the search term (and it can be quite complex, including boolean operators and wildcards), then press the return key.
The reason I suspect this is because when I perform a search, pressing the return key selects the text in the search field. The search term in your snapshot isn't selecting, which leads me to believe it hasn't been executed.
If that doesn't work, write back and I'll dig up the command for rebuilding the documentation index.
