It seems that Xcode configuration files are a 2.1 feature. Correct?

And - reading this mailing list - I got the impression that Xcode 2.1 is somewhat less stable than 2.0. Correct?

So - given the fact that I am not interested in fat or universal binaries - should I upgrade to Xcode 2.1?
