Does it matter? I'm not referencing any files in any directories
other then the main
System files, and Development folder is outside of my users folder.
So I don't think
it matters.
Like I said, the per-user preferences are _keyed_ on your login user
name so it most definitively matters.
Is there a way around it? Why not keep these preferences in the
project folder, ot at least give
us a choice. I mean - not every Mac developer is going to have or want
to keep this information in
their own space. Perhaps if more then one person is working on it, but
what about a single
person who doesn't have a fast computer who wants to work from an
external drive.
Check the files inside your Xcode project package if you want to
verify what's going on.
What folder is that in? Is it in the Development folder?
No, inside the project file, your Foo.xcodeproj file. The project
files are file packages, ie. they look like files, but really are
folders containing other files.
You mean - it's like a package?
What is name of the individual file within that package then? I see
lots of files in there.
