Can you use Intel Assembler syntax with xCode 2.2?

I am using xcode 2.2 and am trying to
compile some inline assembly code. The code builds fine on the PC
using VC6 and VC7.
How to you configure the xcode project
to instruct the complier to use intel syntax instead of AT&T?
I have tried adding
| "PER_ARCH_CFLAGS_i386 = masm=intel" |
In the "Other C flags" but
I get an error - No such file or directory
