Well, there are still the preferences in Xcode which line endings
to use for new and for existing files. IMHO, this should include
pasted text, too.
If it doesn't, I'd condsider this a bug and posting to the list
doesn't necessarily help. You should file a bug. <http://

I have the preference for existing files set to Preserve, but XCode
still changes the endings for me on a seemingly random basis. I'd
love to file a bug report, but I don't know what causes the problem,
which will make the bug report a little empty - I'm only thinking
that it might be pasting text which causes it because of this thread.
What happens is that I'll suddenly find that a file has had its
endings changed when I try doing a diff or file merge and find that
the whole file differs. By then, whatever caused it to happen is days
in the past.
