Config files with the same name but in different folders?

  • Subject: Config files with the same name but in different folders?

It doesn't seem possible to use two different configuration files that have the same name but are located in different folders. Can you do this, or is it a feature request?

For example, say I've got a set of configuration files for gcc 3 and another identical set for gcc 4. The names of the files are the same, but they're located in different folders (gcc3 & gcc4) The only difference between the two sets of files is that one uses gcc 3 for the PPC build and the other uses gcc 4.

If I try to add both sets of say "Library Release.xcconfig" to my project then I end up with only one "Library Release" menu item in the "Based on:" popup menu. I was expecting to see 2 menu items, something like "gcc3/Library Release" & "gcc4/Library Release."

Is there any way to do what I'm trying to do or is it bug report time?
Thanks!
