Anybody else experience iTunes stuttering when building in Xcode on
a 3GHz Mac Pro with 4G of RAM (or otherwise)? I ordered it from
Apple with 2G and I don't remember if it did this before I added
the other 2G. I order the new 2G from Other World Computing, which
says their chips are certified for Mac Pro's and all that.
I'm not distributing compilation. All 4 CPUs get pretty much maxed
out while building. Not that I'm complaining about blazing fast
Xcode builds, but maybe just a tad bit less CPU hogging would be
nice so iTunes would work like it should during that time.

I think the problem is related to limitations in hard disk access.
Just think what will happen, when
a lot of processes attempts to access files at the same time. [ The
read/write heads can't be in more
than one place at the same time.]
