Not sure if this addresses what you are referring to, but in case it helps here are some ways to get to Apple's API reference:


- You can jump to the documentation for a symbol by using Option- double-click.

- Help->Documentation brings up the documentation window, which allows you to search on API directly or do full-text searches on all the provided documentation. You can also use the TOC on the left- hand side of the window to browse the documentation.
