I don't deny it. But tooltips are poor interface - you have to hover and
wait, you don't know how long to hover and wait, sometimes the tooltip
*never* appears (as on a window's Textured checkbox), and meanwhile you're
just losing time. Or just the other way, the tooltip pops up and gets in the
way of what you're trying to see. Besides, the information in the tooltip is
not what I said above that I wanted to know: I don't want a verbal
description, I just wish to learn the name of the corresponding code setting
- in Cocoa Objective-C terms, what does this checkbox do? Plus, as I said, I
would really like to jump right to the actual docs, so I can read more about
this setting in its documentational context. m.
