You know where these functions came from - NSString.
That seems to me VERY strange after .NET FCL:
Well, the original question to which I replied was how to port c#
program. One reply suggested using Carbon. My opinion is that Cocoa
is much closer to .Net than Carbon and my suggestion was to use Cocoa
and not Carbon to rewrite the program.
How close Cocoa is to .Net is clearly subjective measure. I was
surprised how quickly I was able to port (rewrite) Cocoa application
to .Net without any prior mswindows development experience and how
similarly structured the resulting application was.
