Nice thought, but we just saw a side effect of this: Leopard's
release was delayed four months or so because they needed Mac OS X
engineers working on the phone. Besides, Apple's been using Xcode and
before that Project Builder, and NeXT used Project Builder before
that. There was never a danger that Xcode wouldn't be supported. The
danger IMO is that it will continue to be an IDE that's nonintuitive,
confusing, and awkward to use, a very non-Mac-like application.
