They don't have the same name, and they don't share a build folder. The
source files share *names* but not paths.
Now, if I recall correctly, I made the new project by starting with a copy
of the old one, removing all the files and adding the new sources. Is it
possible there's still a path recorded somewhere?

My situation doesn't match what you say (quoted above) but this seems to
have fixed the problem. Perhaps because I made the project by copying the
old one, they wound up with the CodeSense index in the same place?

I note the [FAQ] added to the subject line. Is there an actual FAQ file
somewhere, or is that an indication that this was answered sometime in the
past? I guess I could have searced for "CodeSense" but I didn't realize
that it was involved here.
Also- I tried searching for "codesense" in the Xcode help, and it came up
with nothing.
