Title: Re: [FAQ] Jump to Definition
problem
Chris Espinosa <email@hidden> said:
You probably also copied the index from
the previous project, and unless you rebuild it from scratch, Xcode is
augmenting it instead of replacing it.
as well as James Bucanek <email@hidden>
saying the same thing:
Did you also copy the build folder inside
the project folder? The code sense index is buried in the build
folder, so if you copied that (even if you did a clean build), you'll
be working with a stale copy of the index.
And this must be what happened.
James also said this:
Others have mentioned performing a clean
build or deleting the build folder to solve this problem, but I all
you need to do when changing projects is to rebuild the Code Sense
index: Project > Edit Project Settings > Rebuild Code
Sense Index.
Actually, both projects have undergone clean and build.
Thanks to you both!
