[OT] How to extract a BOM archive correctly?

  • Thread-topic: [OT] How to extract a BOM archive correctly?

Hi all, I know that this is off-topic, but this is the best group I know
of to answer this question. I've got an annoying permissions problem
with a BOM archive that I need to extract to fix.

ditto -x --bom Archive.bom ~/someDirectory

should extract it, and then I should be able to fix the permissions
problems, but it isn't working; I keep getting the following back:

ditto: No destination
Usage: ditto [ <options> ] source src [ ... src] dst

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? 'someDirectory' already exists, as
does the archive. I'm running the command from the directory that
contains the archive, and I run it as an admin.

Thanks,
Cem Karan
