Using NSLog: Unable to view output via 'Run Log'

  • Subject: Using NSLog: Unable to view output via 'Run Log'

Xcode version: 2.4.1

I've been using NSLog to display messages in previous Xcodes of yesteryear.
Now I would like to do the same.

But I don't see anything.

The 'Run Log' menu item under the 'Debug' menu only displays the Groups & Files column.

The debugger works, and I can see results via the console when the debugger is running:
run
[Switching to process 1487 local thread 0xf03]
RunningÂ…
2007-09-18 14:07:06.070 MySQL[1487] This is NSLog: Hello from {sayHello}

----------------------

I'm using the 'pseudo terminal'for standard I/O as set in the executable.

Q: How can I view NSLog message in standard 'run' mode?
