I didn't have it on (I had never noticed that option) but it doesn't
matter. That only affects what happens when you resize the window.
Hey James -
That option makes the auto resizing rules apply while resizing with
the mouse. It affects both views and windows.
I just created a new carbon window nib, with a box in a box, and with
the live auto-resizing option turned off. I didn't see the behavior
you observed. If you re-create the enclosing box, do you still observe
the same behavior?
