How Do I Stop Performance Tools

I did a "Run -> Start with Performance Tool -> Object Allocations" to make a quick check. Now I can find no way to cancel the operation -- i.e., keep Instruments from opening whenever I launch a Debugger Build and Go. I only want to check the object allocations every now&then and I need to cancel the Performance Tool activation. Help, this is driving me nuts.
