So, I asked Mr. No.8 to tell the meaning of "GM" in Apple.
I found this by writing only 1 line of AppleScript code. It took just a minute!

All software has bugs in it. If you've been programming for any length of time, you should be used to that.

A bug may be incredibly obvious to one person who happens to have hit on some combination of configuration and actions that trigger it; but that bug might not have occurred in any testing in the past. I've seen plenty of bugs like that, both reporting them and having them reported to me. I worked at Apple on Mac OS X for years, and I can assure you that if a bug that broke AppleScript in Japanese had been known before Leopard went GM, that would have been a priority-1 bug that would have blocked the release of the OS until it was fixed.

No one likes to hear people smugly make sarcastic comments about their work. So acting like a flaming a**hole about this bug is absolutely the least productive thing you could be doing if you want anyone at Apple (or on this mailing list) to pay attention to you. So grow up a bit and (a) file a reasonably polite bug report, and (b) ask reasonably politely here about possible workarounds.
