I downloaded the latest disk image of Xcode and installed and tried to build the app again, and got the same result (error code 71). Then I went into Disk Utility and repaired permissions.

My hard disk is partitioned into two partitions. I have Xcode installed on the HD 1 and the project installed on HD 2. So I thought that I would build and run the project on HD 1 and see if I could get a different result. Just tried that, got the same error code. Deleted the first project and did a new build; same results.

Glad to hear that you resolved the problem by running copystrings from the terminal. Can you tell me what commands I can use from the terminal to resolve the issue?

Thank you very much.
